Steveston is a historic fishing village. The village maintains a laid back village atmosphere, even with thousands of visitors pouring on to its streets on sunny days. Steveston is home to two National Historic Sites of Canada, the Gulf of Georgia Cannery, once nicknamed the "Monster Cannery," and Britannia Heritage Shipyard Park. Along with its historic sites, Steveston also is home to Garry Point Park; London Farm to whale watching, and has now added our wheelchair accessible Steveston Water Park and Steveston Park for the kiddies, bike and walking/jogging trails.
